The button turns GREEN, the reason list disappears, and the columns become "Expected" and "Counted". If it is not green, you are still in the old adjust mode.

The camera closes itself after reading and the product appears in the table. Works with barcodes and QR codes (Chrome on Android).

The cursor jumps into the "Counted" box by itself when a scan finds exactly one product. Enter works the same as ✓.

Two possible outcomes (below). Corrections appear immediately in the 📒 log under the table. Then: 📷 next item.

✓ Stock matches — no correction needed. Nothing is written; the shelf is confirmed.
✏️ Count correction recorded: −2 (5 → 3). The difference was written to the log, under your name.
🧪 Try it safely
Scan any item and deliberately type a wrong count (if Expected says 5, type 3). Watch the −2 correction appear in the log. Scan the same item again — Expected now says 3, because the database accepted your count as the truth. Type 5 and everything is back: a +2 correction is logged. Nothing is ever lost — both corrections stay in the log.
⚠️ If no product is found
If "No product found" appears, the scanned code is not in the database. That is not a malfunction — note the code and report it.
