What we save
We save, as TEXT: your conversations with the shop assistant (typed or spoken), orders placed in the demo, and the sheets/parts lists you choose to save with a QR code. We use this data to answer you, to retrieve your saved sheets, and to improve our service.
Your voice — we record no audio
The 🎤 button uses your browser's speech-recognition service (on a phone or a desktop computer) to turn speech into text. Only the TEXT reaches us — we never record or store any audio file. Note: your browser's speech service (e.g. Google on Android/Chrome, Apple on iPhone) may send the sound to the browser vendor's servers for transcription, under that vendor's own privacy policy.
How long we keep data
As this is a demonstration site, data is kept at most 12 months and deleted earlier on request.
Your rights
You may ask at any time to see your data or have it deleted (per GDPR). Write to the shop or talk to our staff.
What we do NOT do
We do not sell your data. We do not use it for advertising. We ask for no online payment details (demo orders are cash on delivery). This is a password-protected demonstration site, not a production shop.
