nothing is staged. It's not yet hardened for production: before go-live we'd close the
staff-login gate on the order queue, and finish the data-completion work — about
33,000 items left to categorize, plus enhancement work beyond the 575 already done.

If asked about missing photos: "We deliberately left images out of this build. The moment we have real product photos from you, they drop straight into these same item pages — no rework needed. We didn't want to guess at photography you're already set up to provide, and we didn't want to set an expectation that we're the ones sourcing 27,000 product photos."
Ask directly: "We have zero product photos right now. Your current site has ~14,000 — we checked, and by product code we can already match about 180 of them to items in our catalog. Can we use those? And separately — could we get direct access to your image library, so we're not limited to what we can scrape?"
